An on-line newsletter to keep our team members informed
OUR TECHNICIANS ARE OUR HEROES

The CoronaVirus will trigger New Ways of Doing Business
When we get past this pandemic, some of the social dynamics are expected to change.
It has been referenced that the shaking of hands, a very long standing tradition will be replaced with elbow bumping or foot tapping.
On line selling and marketing will dominate the business market more so than ever, and interpersonal dynamics will become less and less as we move forward.

PRO-TEK & PRO-PLUS MAKES DONATION
It's no secret, all restaurants, along with
many food service operations have shut down.
As a result, many employees, thousands, have found themselves out of a job, with little to no warning, or opportunity to properly prepare.
We have benefited over the years from restaurants, and felt it only right to help those who have helped us over the years.
Our donation will support the grant program to help the employees needing assistance.

WE DONATED
JODY CRONIN and JESSICA HYMOWITZ BURN THE MIDNIGHT OIL TO KEEP US GOING
Both Jody and Jessica working behind the scenes, putting in extended hours, to make sure in spite of all the challenges which include getting the billing out, collect monies from customers who have actually closed their doors, some for the duration of the pandemic, and some forever, paychecks go out, new codes and laws are being complied with.
No one has it easy these days, whether it's a work at home position, or being in the field, as our technicians are every day, we are all challenged in a way unlike ever before.

ANTHONY MARSHALL
Anthony joined the company in February 2019, and less than a year later, with Suzanne out on medical leave, Anthony stepped
up to the plate, and basically ran the whole territory and did an
amazing job.
That being said, he we will
soon be running a territory
on his own.
SPOTLIGHT SECTION
The SPOTLIGHT section puts the focus on those who have contributed to the company's success in a special way.
This section will continue future editions, so if you feel you have contributed in a special way, and have not yet hit the spotlight, you can expect to see your picture and profile in one of the future editions

DANIELLE ROSSI
Danielle has been with the company five years, has proven to be a tremendous asset as the leader of the parts department.
Just recently she saved the day with LIJ Hospital by working tediously with Alto-Sham to get a critical part, and in tandem with Edwin. They have proven to a most resourceful team

CARLA DUARTE
Carla has been with PRO-TEK for almost three years now, and has become a tremendous asset to the company and specifically Diane Rossi, as her assistant.
You would often hear Diane say that had it not been for Carla, we would not have forged such successful relationships with dealers and manufacturers.
The Corona Virus Impact

The Corona Virus, otherwise known as COVID-19, has left no one untouched.
It is on the television 24/7 and all over the newspapers, many of us know people who tested positive, and although many have had it and survived, others are still struggling.
Many service companies had to pretty much shut down, but PRO-TEK and PRO-PLUS have kept the doors open with an awesome crew to keep the hospitals, supermarkets, and a few scattered other food service operations running.
We applaud our technicians in the field who are heroes to us and the facilities they keep operational.
Fixing their kitchen equipment, as that's what we do, rain, shine, or crisis time, is what we do, we are in an unprecedented crisis.
We also applaud our financial department for getting the payroll processed, the bills going out to our customers, the money collected, as without that function, we would not be able keep the wheels in motion.
We also need to recognize our management team that supports our technicians each day with schedules and the coordination of part drops, this is not easy considering all are working from home and the ability to effectively communicate has bee compromised.
A hearty well done to all, and said with great appreciation, as our customers have demonstrated their appreciation for supporting them through time of crisis.

OUR TECHNICIANS ARE THE AWESOME HEROES OF THE DAY
Yes, our Technicians who are in the field each and every day, and facing the challenges
that the crisis brings, are truly our
heroes.
Supported by the Service
Management and Parts team, the
Technicians power through the day
to handle broken equipment,
almost as if it's business as usual.
On behalf of the PRO-TEK and
PRO-PLUS customers, I thank
you all
Ed Daniels
THIS SAYS IT ALL
Working from Home
following the State's "stay at home" mandate
We have closed the office and have our office staff working from home, and it's no pleasure as some may think, as communication has become challenging more than one can imagine.
Pictured are "work at home" shots, technicians in the field are considered essential workers so our heroic technicians are cleared to perform the desperately needed service which is formally categorized as "APPLIANCE REPAIR"

DANI ROSSI
PARTS MANAGER

DEANNA SIEGEL
SERVICE MANAGER
Why PRO-TEK & PRO-PLUS are the "talk of the town"
Diane Rossi

We have become the service company of choice for many of the manufacturers and dealers in the the New York and New Jersey region because we care, and are passionate about the service we deliver.
We have an amazing technician team that works tirelessly and takes pride in what they do and how they do it, coupled with Diane and her passion, it is obvious why we have taken center stage in the NY and NJ marketplace.
Recently we exhibited at the Javits Center at the National Restaurant Show, and when Diane walked the isle that Tucker/Singer was in, they treated her like a rock star, because we took care of them on a level unlike other service companies did, and this recognition will help elevate us to the next level of greatness.
For this level of recognition, I thank and applaud the whole team, the teks, the office staff, the parts department, and the sales and marketing team.

Mike D'Auria
TERRITORY MANAGER
When Mike D started with PRO-TEK, he knew nothing about the service business or the Food Service Industry.
Fast forwarding to now, he is considered a veteran manager, who has been confronted with just about every conceivable challenge known.
We are proud to have him as part of our team, and we appreciate that he handles after hour service activity, as we do deliver service around the clock.
PRO-PLUS and PRO-TEK
work more closely in times of crisis
Whether it being sharing protective gear, delivering parts to technicians, or backing up each other on service calls, both companies have demonstrated the spirit of partnering.

TOUGH TIMES

With most restaurants and hotels shutting down, PRO-PLUS, not unlike PRO-TEK, is left with servicing healthcare facilities and supermarkets.
PRO-PLUS has been doing an excellent job servicing WHOLE FOODS, along with an upscale Grocery Store chain in the Westchester area of New York.
Jessie, Deanna, and Westel, are working aggressively to grow this market, as we all know, food stores will remain open always.
Kim, our Sales and Marketing person, is working aggressively also to bring in new healthcare and food store business, and this has become our focus during these unprecedented times.
